Who are we?
A student lettings agency
Created in 2015 and staffed with a team with extensive experience in the student and professional lettings market. We came together to form a company that provides the quality of properties and renting experience that today’s students expect.
Going beyond basics
Our utilities offering has always been about providing a service that goes beyond expectations. Having an in house team means we can respond faster and resolve issues such as problems with the internet quicker than any other inclusive bills provider.
Always looking to do more
We know the reputation lettings agents have. We want to set a new standard of expectation and show that we’re not all cut from the same cloth. Our success is entirely down to our tenants’ choosing to rent with us so we will always try to do what we can to exceed what they expect from us.
Started in 2015 to set a new standard of student lettings in Manchester.
Started in 2021 to set new standards for students in Liverpool.
Why do we care?
Fuel Poverty
Students are generally excluded from official fuel poverty statistics so it is difficult to know the effect this has on you, both physical and financial. However, we know how much it costs to heat your homes and we know how much your maintenance loans are.
Cold homes can worsen a range of serious health conditions as well as having a significant impact on mental health. Cold homes are not productive places to study so could also negatively affect your performance at university.
We want to avoid this, either with our bills in packages or by the support we can offer.
Support
For most our tenants this is the first time they have lived in a home where they are responsible for the upkeep. We believe it is our responsibility to equip you with the tools to manage your own bills, learn more about how to maintain your property and save energy for when you are on your own.
Carbon Emissions
The way we heat our homes is unsustainable. The carbon cost to produce our energy is huge. Gas production creates 0.309kg of carbon per kWh generated and electricity around 0.162kg carbon per kWh. We cannot wait for the supply chain to decarbonise so we must take action to reduce our consumption.
